Waters Creek Day use area: Trout fishing is available on Dicks and Waters Creek. Upper Waters Creek is designated as a trophy trout stream. 12 miles north of Dahlonega on US Hwy. 19. Turn left at Forest Service sign onto FS 34. Check in at Rangers station. |

Etowah River
Etowah River Fishing above Jay Bridge and the Etowah tributaries upstream from the Castleberry bridge to Jay Bridge is limited to the fishing season. Hwy. Bus. 19N to Wahsega Rd. to end. Turn left @ Ranger Camp onto FS 28-1 and go 1.6 miles to the Etowah River. |

Winfield Scott Lake is stocked with rainbow trout. Follow Ga. Hwy. 60N from Dahlonega through Suches. Turn right on Hwy. 180 and turn right at Forest Service Sign. Approximately 22 miles from Dahlonega. |
